Trondheim Vokalensemble
Trondheim Vocal Ensemble is looking for three singers in a fixed 60% position:
Tenors, 1st and 2nd / 2nd Bass
Responsibilities will include, inter alia:
- The ensemble’s own concert activities.
- Some touring.
- Participation in activities and concerts in Nidaros Cathedral.
- Participation in TSO’s opera and concert productions.
- Evening and weekend work, as well as work during the church’s holidays, including Christmas and Easter.

We expect:
- High professional level; theoretical, technical and musical.
- Ability to perform at a high artistic level with a relatively short rehearsal time.
- A large degree of independence in the rehearsal work.
- Sufficient language ability to be able to perform a Norwegian/Nordic repertoire.
- That you contribute in a good way musically and socially and know what is expected of a singer in a vocal ensemble.
- That performances with liturgical repertoire in the church are not an obstacle.
- That Trondheim Vocal Ensemble is your main career project.

Please specify the preferred date and place for your audition in the application form below. Venues for auditions in the individual city will be announced at a later date.
Selected candidates are invited to audition on the basis of their CV and audio/video files. The files can be in PDF, Mp3/Mp4 or as a link to YouTube. The maximum length is seven minutes for sound and video .
The candidate prepares two works of different nature (eg an opera/oratorio aria, as well as a lied, for the first part of the audition). Sheet music in pdf format for the accompanist are attached to the application together with the audio file and CV.
Sheet music for the compulsory choir assignment will be made available one week before the actual audition. These are used in the ensemble part of the audition. In addition, you will be tested in prima vista.
