Popkomm showcase profile Audrey Horne

Sharing the stage with such hard-hitting acts as Enslaved, Red Harvest and Madder Mortem, Audrey Horne are set to blast the Berlin audience with their trademark no-holds-barred live set.

Audrey Horne live 2005

Audrey Horne burst onto the domestic as well as European stage earlier this year with their acclaimed ‘No Hay Banda’ album co-produced and mixed in Los Angeles by Joe Baressi, (Queens of the stoneage, Monster Magnet, Limp Bizkit, Turbonegro).

Bergen based outfit Audrey Horne play powerful, heavy, melodic, in-your-face hard rock, with an abundance of attitude. They picked the name of the band from David Lynch`s cult-movie: Twin Peaks.

The band was formed late in 2002, and have since then done a number of well-received gigs domestically as well as internationally. With a line-up consisting members from such influential bands as Enslaved, Gorgoroth, Deride and Sylvia Wane the outfit has the right credentials, earning them a spot in the Premier League of Norwegian metal.

A few review excerpts:
"Audrey Horne are a world class rock band with charisma to burn." Don Lawson - Kerrang

"A must for fans of early Alice in Chains…" Metal Hammer - 8/10
