Nine years after their debut, Orbina return with the follow up. Fusing ancient Sami vocal traditions with 21st century production techniques and instrumentation is a serious undertaking that could easily end up not portraying the rich Sami traditions correctly. Orbina succeed on their quest - the outcome of the efforts on this album might best be described as a large canvas of highly contemporary Saami folk music with colourful strokes of present technology. Rich vocal tracks, tasteful programming and skilful instrumentation round out a strong album that serves as a lasting point of reference for contemporary Sami crossover music.
